Just a few weeks ago I had a fellow photographer friend who called me up and asked, are you interested a quick shoot in a sunflower field. I was on the fence since a storm was rolling in, but decided to join in the fun. It ended up being a perfect evening, the storm held out just long enough for us to get some shot in the sunflower field as well as at a local park with a beautiful lake and vintage tractors.
Standing in the field I realized how much I really miss shooting in nature. I also may or may not have noticed that I should be wearing better shoes than flip flops while trudging through grass up to my knees to save myself from the bugs and other creatures that could have made the field home, but that is besides the point. I do miss nature, and need to spend more time photographing outside as the temperatures begin to drop!
There is something just so magical about natural light. In fact the entire shoot has me inspired, which is a great place to be! Stay tuned for a big announcement coming soon...oh, okay, since you asked I will give you a hint. I'm currently ordering full length dresses to add to my client closet for outdoor shoots!! If you're interested in booking a shoot, or possibly being a model please email me at: tara@taralynphoto.com
